Welcome to my slice of the internet.

Hello, or Kia Ora, as we say back home! I'm a New Zealander living in the greatest city in the world - New York. I currently serve as the TVNZ US Correspondent for 1News, where I either attempt to explain hyper-complex and fast moving international politics or highlight some of the crazy things that happen in America. I produce, write, edit, film and present my stories myself as a one-man-band.

A lot of my day is spent writing scripts for news stories or articles, so in my own time I like to stretch those writing muscles and work on fiction projects. I recently published my first fiction novel, Forbidden Fruit, which is available on Amazon.

As most writers do, I also read. A lot. When I moved to the US I discovered Barnes & Noble for the first time. It's done wonders for my brain and absolutely devastated my bank account. I tell myself it's money well spent.

While my work is seen regularly on TV1 in New Zealand or published on 1News.co.nz, I want a place to call my own and write what ever I feel like. There will be links to some of my news articles, thoughts on New York and it's vibrant culture, 'behind the scenes' of some of my biggest news stories, features on life abroad, or books I'm reading or writing. There will probably be other stuff too. Who knows. That's what makes it fun.
